What has become of the ARA Best Study Award winner Theresa Kuglitsch?

Excellent academic achievements not only impress on the certificate. ARA AG grants the Best Study Award those ETIA students with the best academic performance over the two years of study.

One of them is Theresa Kuglitsch, alumna of the postgraduate program MSc Environmental Tech-nology & International Affairs and winner of the ARA Best Study Award 2014: "The ARA Best Study Award not only acknowledges the hard work and effort put into your studies but it also ena-bles you to find the job you really want by providing a financial back-up, which allows for a thorough job search instead of going with the first job offered to you. Also, the award adds to your CV, show-ing your future employer that you are willing and able to do good work.”

Career steps since the graduation

After graduating from the MSc ETIA program, I started working at VAMED, an international com-pany delivering health care buildings and services around the globe. I first worked in project devel-opment and project management for various health care facilities in Austria and was part of the team to initiate, develop, and implement the company’s energy management system – getting the ISO 50001 certification already within the first year after the start of the program.
Today, while still further developing the energy management system, I also work in project man-agement and market development for our new market in the UK. The MSc ETIA program certainly laid out the basis for me to tackle the various challenges my job has to offer – from the technical aspects to finding my way through different legal systems, and to dealing with colleagues and cli-ents of different cultures and nationalities.
