Program Objectives

The combination of studying environmental issues both from the technical and the international relations points of view prepares graduates for high-flying careers as managers and engineers, as well as for politicial and diplomatic tasks in the fields of the environment and sustainable development. Graduates of this course are able to assess and analyze problems from a legal, economic, scientific and technical standpoint and take active part in implementing and managing new standards.

The two-year MSc Program embraces with a wide range of topics and is divided into two distinct segments. The focus of the technical and scientific segment is on the quality management of air and water, the management of resources and energy, as well as climate change. After a general introduction to international relations, the international studies segment deals with the major political, economic and legal issues concerning the environment and sustainable development.
